Lighting Sparks at Remaville – A Day of Dreams, Laughter, and Salesforce

On the 22 May 2025, something beautiful happened at Remaville School. We walked in with slides, gifts, and a mission—but we walked out full of hope and gratitude. Our team at DKLOUD Consulting had the honor of joining Remaville on their Career Day to speak with their students and young teachers about something that has changed our lives: Salesforce.

Why We Went

We didn’t go just to talk about tech. We went to plant seeds.

We believe greatness can be born anywhere—even in a classroom in Jos. But too often, the kids with the biggest potential never hear about the tools or paths that could change their lives. So we came to show them: “Hey, there’s a world out there—and you belong in it.”

Who We Met

We met bright eyes. Young hearts. Curious minds.

From the very first slide, the energy in the room shifted. These students may not have known what Salesforce was, but they leaned in. They asked questions. They laughed at our jokes. They played the games with joy. And when we handed out DKLOUD-branded gifts, their faces lit up like we’d just handed them gold.

But what struck us most was the teachers young, passionate educators who asked how they, too, could learn this. That’s when we knew: the impact was bigger than we imagined.

What We Shared

Using a simple, heartfelt presentation, we unpacked:

  • What Salesforce is, and why it powers some of the world’s biggest businesses.

  • Roles like Admin, Developer, Analyst, and Consultant, that they could grow into.

  • Our real stories: from Jos to the world.

  • How to get started learning, for free, on Trailhead.

And then something magical happened. Students asked to be signed up, and if we could help them with it. With support from the school, shout out to the Principal of Remavill, who told the students that they could use the school’s resources for their Trailhead journeys.

The Impact

We didn’t just talk. We started something.

  • Several students now have my contact information and want a Trailhead account.

  • Teachers are exploring Salesforce now, and with time, it could be introduced into their Curriculum..

  • Most of all, we left behind something priceless: belief.

That’s the power of showing up. That’s what outreach should feel like.

A Moment to Remember

As we packed up, one of the students came up and said, “Sir, I didn’t know we could do something like this. Now I want to try.”

That’s it. That’s the whole point.

This was more than a talk, it was a glimpse into what’s possible when we bring access, heart, and hope into the same room.

We’re just getting started.
