The Problem
Purple, an existing Salesforce customer, had previously implemented a custom-coded solution to manage quoting and ordering. While effective in the early stages, the system could not scale with the business as it grew.
Key challenges included:
Inability to efficiently manage subscriptions and renewals. Limitations in handling complex product structures and discounting logic. Lack of accurate revenue recognition within Salesforce.
